GENEVA — Audi is now offering a much more detailed look at its new high-performance TT RS ahead of the official coming-out party next week at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. The new model will be offered in both coupe and roadster variants.
Audi has released only a few details ahead of the show, including the fact that it will be installing a new turbocharged, direction-injection 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine rated at well over 300 horsepower. The TT RS has Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox.
Audi says the TT RS is "not approved for U.S. launch." Sounds like there may be just a little wiggle room there.
