LONDON — Audi plans to build only 100 copies of its new R8 V8 Limited Edition coupe, all of which will be sold exclusively in the U.K. The order books open in July, with deliveries slated to begin in October. Pricing starts from just over $150,000.
Audi has loaded the R8 V8 Limited Edition with additional standard equipment, including magnetic ride adaptive suspension, sat-nav, Bang & Olufsen audio and an interior lighting package.
The car can be ordered with either a manual gearbox or the R tronic automated manual.
The R8 V8 Limited Edition rides on titanium-finish 19-inch alloy wheels that feature a five-arm/double-spoke design. Red brake calipers provide additional accents. An extra-cost option is a unique Titanium Metallic finish that is exclusive to this model. Also available is a Carbon package, which adds carbon sigma side blades, door mirrors, monoposto, inlays and door sill trim.
The cockpit of the R8 V8 Limited Edition sports stainless-steel pedals, illuminated door sills and lots of black leather accented with red stitching.
Inside Line says: Exclusive — and expensive.

Why the pictures show the steering wheel in the wrong side for the british market?

@connap
The picture shows a left hand drive setup. Right hand drive refers to the driver's side being on the right, not the hand that works the gearshift lever, so in RHD your left hand is actually shifting, and vice versa. It has to do with which side a horseman was riding during a joust in the quaint era that called upon that behavior.

That is one damn fine looking automobile.
I'm sure they'll have to come out with a "Black Edition" next?
