Both the 120-horsepower and 142-hp 2.0-liter diesel A4 models see output rise to 168 hp and 277 pound-feet of torque. O.CT boasts that improvements to the A4 2.0 TDI have significantly dropped the distance needed to reach 112 mph from a standing start.
The firm claims its improved car hits that speed in 0.68 mile compared with the stock A4's 0.99 mile. That's an improvement of more than a quarter-mile. The sprint to 60 mph comes in less than 8.0 seconds for the O.CT A4, compared with 9.4 seconds for the stock car.
The 1.8-liter TFSI engine in the Audi A3 receives a 45-hp bump to 205 hp. Acceleration to 60 mph is now a full second faster, with the A3 clearing the traps in less than 7.3 seconds.
Inside Line says: O.CT makes some significant power gains just by tweaking the ECU. — Eric Tingwall, Correspondent
