INGELHEIM, Germany — Senner has expanded its lineup of Audi modification packages with its new kit for the 2011 A1 compact hatch.
The tuning house reconfigures the ECU, raising output on the 1.6-liter TDI engine from 103 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque to 138 horses and 229 lb-ft. That upgrade will run buyers the equivalent to $1,150.
Its other performance features include a lowered KW suspension, a stainless-steel exhaust ($1,135) and a set of 18-inch Barracuda Voltec T6 wheels wrapped in Hankook S1 Evo tires sized 225/35. The wheels are available in either a chrome or black chrome finish, and Senner also opted for a special electric blue paint job and bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights.
A variety of interior goodies like leather upholstery and carbon-fiber trim are available at the customer's request.
Delivery of the Audi A1 officially begins today in Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland and will start for the other mainland European markets in mid-September. The U.K. won't see any until November.
