GAYDON, England — Aston Martin, which launched a more powerful 4.7 V8 Vantage earlier this year, is offering a retrofit power upgrade to owners of the older 4.3 V8 Vantage.

The 4.3 upgrade package, which includes a revised induction system and a reprogrammed ECU, boosts output by 20 horsepower to 400 hp and torque to 310 pound-feet. Top speed climbs to 177 mph, and 0-60-mph acceleration is trimmed slightly. The U.S. edition of the 4.7 V8 Vantage is rated at 420 hp and 346 lb-ft.

A Sports Pack option is also available for the 4.3 V8 Vantage, bundling uprated springs, Bilstein shocks and five-spoke forged-alloy wheels.

Both kits are available through Aston Martin dealers worldwide.
