- The supercar is priced around $1.7 million.

GAYDON, England — Aston Martin has released a new video of its upcoming One-77 undergoing track testing and says the new supercar's 7.3-liter V12 has been "certified" at 750 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Aston previously had said the One-77's V12 would deliver "700 plus" horsepower. The first customer deliveries are slated for early 2011, with prices starting at around $1.7 million.
In the latest video, an engineering prototype of the One-77 is put through its paces, with running commentary provided by design director Marek Reichman and CEO Ulrich Bez.
The One-77 was formally unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show.
Aston has tested prototypes in a variety of settings, from the Nurburgring to Nardo, where the car broke the 220-mph barrier late last year.
Production is being limited to 77 copies.

Looks like a 370Z on steroids!!!
Its good to see Aston Martin finaly step up to the current super car performance level, although for 1.7 mill i would think they could get more than a mear 110 HP more than the top of the line corvette that sell for just over 100k, just sayin ya know..

This is probably more extroverted a design than people have come to expect from Aston Martin, but I think it's pretty incredible. Watching that video, I've got to say the way the rearview mirror just organicly sprouts from the door with no cutlines, as just one piece, is really beautiful, and I have to wonder how they do that. Do they pull the metal up from the door skin? It's just astonishing.
The engine doesn't seem to shriek like Italian V12s, but it has quite a sound none the less. I can imagine hearing it in person is really awe-inspiring.

the styling could be overdone for some. but regardless this car is gorgeous and insane! for the price, it's how it supposed to look like. Aston FTW!
