GAYDON, England — Aston Martin is closing out the year with three special editions of the DB9 coupe and convertible. Priced from $204,000, the new variants are dubbed Morning Frost, Carbon Black and Quantum Silver.
The DB9 Morning Frost has more of a luxury bent, with a pearlescent white exterior and metallic bronze leather interior, plus such features as piano black center console and door pulls, silver grille, silver brake calipers and 19-inch, 10-spoke silver diamond-turned wheels.
The DB9 Carbon Black and Quantum Silver get a more sporting flavor, including an obsidian black interior with piano black trim. These two variants feature a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission, a remapped sport exhaust with graphite tailpipes and unique 19-inch, 10-spoke gloss-black forged alloy wheels.

As if a "plain old" Aston Martin was not already special enough.

If you buy me an Aston Martin DB9 Special Edition for Christmas, I will find a tree big enough to put it under.
Don't you worry your sweet little heart.
