2009 Aston Martin DB9: More power is the most significant upgrade for the 2009 Aston Martin DB9. It's still powered by a 48-valve 6.0-liter V12, but output is up 20 horsepower to 470. Aston now says the DB9 coupe and convertible are quicker to 60 mph, both reaching the speed from a dead stop in just 4.3 seconds. The company also claims a 190-mph top speed for each.
Other dynamic changes include a chassis retuning, an automatic transmission with more precise low-speed gearchanges and standard 19-inch 10-spoke wheels. The grille is also new; it has gone from seven bars to five.

2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage: More power is also the most significant upgrade for the 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The least expensive Aston Martin is still powered by a 32-valve normally aspirated V8, but displacement is up to 4.7 liters and there's 40 more hp on tap for a total of 420 hp.
As a result, Aston says the V8 Vantage coupe and convertible are quicker to 60 mph, both hitting the magic number in an estimated 4.7 seconds. The company also claims that top speed is up 5 mph for each body style, to 180 mph.
Other dynamic changes include a chassis retuning, a more sophisticated automatic transmission and an optional Sport package, which features lighter wheels, new shocks and stiffer springs. Inside, both the coupe and convertible get a new center console.
