Last Sunday I purchased a 2012 TSX Special Edition. I love it. The suede/leather interior with red stitching, the body kit, the rims, makes it just slightly better than the other TSX's on the road. The sticker price is what I walked out the door with, same price as on the internet. So far so good, great car...great gas mileage. I also have a 08 MDX and by far Acura has treated me right. I have had over 16 cars all higher end and by far Acura has been the best..so far.
I highly recommend the TSX Special Edition.

OK acura enough already. Just start selling the new rsx or whatever you want to call it this time, and dont make it over $25k. That's it. Until then you can keep your 32k tsx fake special edition.

Honda/Acura, you know, Ford offers a Monochrome Package on their Fusion for those who aren't fond of the "razor blade" grille and prefers body color instead. That's probably a smart move, because the metallic Ford grille could potentially be a deal killer for someone who otherwise wants to buy a Fusion. Same is true for the metallic beak on the TSX. It is the most disliked feature of every car in the Acura lineup. IMHO, that metallic beak should either be monochrome (body color) or blacked out.
Otherwise, I find the current iteration of the TSX to be none too exciting, yet not a bad car. I think it is sized right, and I like the bright red paint.
Oh, and if you were aiming for some excitement to get the enthusiast crowd to notice, mz6greyghost has essentially the right idea. I echo his sentiments. Oh, and for another idea, there are people out there that might be receptive to a new Integra coupe or RSX. Because Toyota and Subaru are coming out with a sporty coupe.

What??? Another "special" edition TSX??? Deja Vu all over again. I think this would be "special" if
they included a die cast model so I can use it to open up my beer. This would definitely justify the
price for me.....lol.

"The TSX is a great 27k car. At 32k, options like an A4 or G25/37 are more compelling."
Again,
Don't be fooled with these 'Prices Starting At ...' cr@p.
$32k for G or A4?
Good luck in finding G (or Lexi), lest A4 (Audi/BMW/MB - The German Trio) with those starting prices.
Whatever prices they stated (with those ***), the cheapest on the lot is at least $5-6k more.
For Acura/Honda, I see that most cars on the lot are represented similarly to their websites.
Maybe Acura/Honda are not as 'smart' as Toyota/Nissan, but I think it's better for us, customers.

What has happened to Honda? Seems like Engineering has take a (far) back seat to marketing and the result is garish beaks, a "special edition" every year and button festooned dashboards. Instead of turning the Accord into the next Town Car, how about focusing on reducing weight a bit and improving interiors and handling dynamics? Adding a gear or two to the slushbox would be a good investment as well. The TSX is a great 27k car. At 32k, options like an A4 or G25/37 are more compelling.

you see folks....we are fairly hard core car enthusiasts and when something like this occurs its insulting to us...........but to the general mainstream public ...they are impressed. You have to keep this sort of thing in perspective .

sooooo, where's the "special" in this?

If they REALLY wanted a "Special Edition", the turbo 4-cylinder from the RDX should be standard, bumped up to 250-260 HP, with a 6-speed manual (NO slushbox option, thank you). A more-aggressive suspension and exterior styling tweaks would go a long way as well.
Oh, and offer it in the wagon...
